The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the business office, model units, public and common areas of the property in a neat, clean, and attractive condition.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Perform various cleaning duties, such as sweeping, scrubbing, dusting, vacuuming and polishing, using powered equipment as needed, in assigned location(s).
- Ensure that all assigned spaces are cleaned according to health and safety standards, company operating procedures, and company schedules.
- Transport waste, trash, and recyclables to appropriate disposal areas; ensure the proper disposal of chemical products.
- Protect, maintain, and disinfect work equipment, tools, and supplies.
- Adhere to safety rules; report safety hazards and unusual occurrences; participate in safety meetings and trainings.
- Maintain inventory and equipment records; keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
- Participate in staff meetings and share observations and ideas that may lead to improved building and grounds cleaning and maintenance.
- Interact with residents in a professional and friendly manner.
- Other duties as assigned
Role Specific Requirements Include:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
- Working knowledge of types and appropriate uses of cleaning products preferred.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as to follow oral and written instructions, maintain records, document activities, and communicate with colleagues and residents.
- Reliable transportation required
