We strive to empower nurses by offering flexibility and control over when and where they work, along with higher wages. Through our mobile apps, our community of qualified nurses provide much-needed staff for short-staffed facilities.

Job description:

• Ionic Developer with 6+ years mobile experience, including 3+ years in Ionic.
• Knowledge of the Flutter framework is a plus
• This position is a 6 month contract/temporary position to start, and will be re-evaluated at that time for continued need.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable applications for various platforms using Flutter and Ionic.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure usability and reliability of applications.
• Monitor the performance of live apps and work on optimizing
• Maintain and improve existing codebases and peer review code changes.
• Understand end-user requirements and translate these into effective mobile solutions.
• Attend regular meetings with the development team to discuss progress and concerns
• Ensure the latest industry trends and technology advancements are considered and applied in development processes. Ensure the implementation of security best practices.
• Work with backend developers to ensure seamless integration with RESTful APIs.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 6+ years of experience with mobile development, with significant experience Ionic with Flutter being a plus
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Strong grasp of both the Dart and JavaScript/TypeScript languages.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Knowledge of mobile UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) for mobile.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
